She had a lovely time meeting up with old friends and former teachers but said that it felt very odd to be drinking mulled wine in the Chapter House with the grown-ups!

Good luck to you and yours as you move onto the next stage.alice chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16969805206040091585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8334855712110031654.post-60164812512303513072015-12-17T18:02:17.058+00:002015-12-17T18:02:17.058+00:00Oh Alice, my youngest child left that same school ...Oh Alice, my youngest child left that same school this year and the Carol Service was the thing I knew I would miss. I was wondering how to fill the gap and was overjoyed to receive an invitation to it as a 'thank you' for helping with something. It was as lovely as ever and the perfect way to begin Christmas.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8334855712110031654.post-66891984634070772732015-12-15T23:05:53.409+00:002015-12-15T23:05:53.409+00:00MasterM was born in December and I can remember we...MasterM was born in December and I can remember weeping pitifully when we sang Away in a Manger that year.alice chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16969805206040091585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8334855712110031654.post-81119481567336670762015-12-14T22:17:50.770+00:002015-12-14T22:17:50.770+00:00Our village church holds a candlelit crib-side ser...Our village church holds a candlelit crib-side service on Christmas Eve. It's always packed with all ages, from babies to oaps, and everyone sings the carols with gusto. I'm not a church-goer but I love the tradition of this and I invariably have something in my eye during the last carol. Of course, new traditions can be created. But Christmas is such a lovely time for children, its hard to think of ways to bring that joyful youthful energy into a grown-up family.sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17963777852666440808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8334855712110031654.post-14047906505606772412015-12-13T15:23:47.203+00:002015-12-13T15:23:47.203+00:00I shall be hanging on every word, as my time drawe...I shall be hanging on every word, as my time draweth near.
