20 Sept : Resolution

Looking back through my files of photos I discovered these of waterlilies in Kew Gardens taken in 2011. My camera was in constant use in those days and I have a wonderful record to refer to. I don't use my proper camera very much now, partly because phone cameras have improved but also because at some point I lost the habit. I think that I am going to change that.

    1. Thank you! I was astonished when I re-discovered the image. I could remember the shadows from the roof but not the leaves. Have you ever been to Kew? It is not as beautiful as Kirstenbosch but still impressive to visit.

  2. Fabulous photos. I'm always pleased I've lugged my SLR with me when I do take it out. The waterlilies at Kew are amazing and VERY big.

    1. Thank you! I have only ever used a small Canon but I take my time to compose shots when I use a proper camera and I am more likely to think creatively. It is so easy to use a phone camera that it has made me lazy.
