I would be grateful if you would not comment on my new cushions which I bought in France. MrM has already indicated that he believes I have tipped into a serious cushion obsessive state. So I think it would be better if we just looked at the hydrangeas. Nice eh?
men don't understand cushions. it is one of the mysteries of the universe.
ReplyDeleteI think they feel threatened by them.
DeleteDo you say hydrangea or hydraynja...just asking for a friend who wants to get it right...
ReplyDeleteNow I am anxious - I thought everyone said hydraynja.
DeleteI certainly do.
DeleteMake MrM a coffee cake and sit him down with a nice cushion at his back, he will soon stop complaining.
You have no idea how much marital strife that comment will cause. He has already used up his coffee cake allowance for 2015.
DeleteI know a few men, mine included who tutt at the sight of more cushions. I think they add a little colour & texture, and love them.
ReplyDeleteTut is a good word but not appropriate in this case. Complain would be better I think.
DeleteMy husband objects silently by tossing them on the floor.
ReplyDeleteAhhh.. the strong, silent type...
DeleteI do hope MrM at least appreciates the hydrangeas...
ReplyDeleteHe may not know the hydrangeas are there because I always nab the seat that allows me to admire them so he has to sit with his back to them.
