I don't grow vegetables but sometimes I wish that I had room to do so. In my mind's eye I can see the bean canes neatly tied, parallel rows of seedlings, colourful arrangements of salad leaves, carefully netted fruit bushes. My heart believes I could do these things, my head knows that it is unlikely but I will definitely have a chive border one day. Oh yes.

I have a chive border which is a delight so colourful for such a long time and edible too - what's not to like.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so spectacular en masse and apparently you can eat the flowers in salads.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. What a great idea. I have a couple of small chive plants which have about 5 leaves each so far...
ReplyDeleteThink big and be patient! Also, do not be tempted to cook recipes that need chives until you have enough to spare.
